Our challenge was to solidify Coors Light's position as the “worlds most refreshing beer” by leveraging the "Cold Activation" innovation as the primary reason to believe.
The idea; what if you could Cold Activate anything? How? By using the COORS LIGHT cap as a "Cold Activation" device. Our focus was to bring friends together and celebrate/"Cold Activate" any occasion with ice cold COORS LIGHT. Through rich media, TV, mobile app, social integration, exclusive events, OOH and a fantasy football partnership our goal was to reinforce the fact that everything gets better with Cold Activation.
Rich Media OLA App
Fantasy Football is the season when heated battles and bitter rivalries are born. To build on this, we brought a little enjoyment to the gridiron with an app that allowed the user to "cold activate" the competition in a unique way. By altering the opposing teams page, including player names, projected points and image, the user had the power to "cool off" their competition on game day and post throughout the league. Once activated, the user could then take the Coors Light cap widget to "cold activate" other sites and social channels then post their work to unlock cap rewards.

We proposed an app that allows “Coors Light” fans to not only discover the best places to enjoy the “most refreshing beer” but also be alerted when friends are celebrating nearby or when exclusive Coors Light events are happening. Users can then post updates directly to their social feeds.
